We're a 50's something couple, married for 34 wonderful years. We have begun our journey toward planning our retirement. Husband still works at a State Park and I'm a full time student working towards my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Ed. One more year and I'll be done and hopefully the farm will be too. We're in the process of preparing 170 acres in south central Missouri to be the retirement farm where we'll live, raise cattle and anything else we can get to grow. We've already planted 175 thornless blackberry plants, 100 asparagus plants and may even plant more to suplement the income.
